i went to the dentist with my cousin recently, she recommended orthopedic treatment for me... she said, tell it to my mom.. before i open this to my mother... i want to know first what it is.. does anyone know what an orthopedic treatment is?

I'm not sure that i want them.... but, i want my teeth to be aligned so it will look good in the future because i want to be a dentist someday... :)
